Who am I? That is a difficult question. I think it changes dependent on who I'm with.
I'm 28 and have been hosting couch surfers on and off since I was 19!
I can sometimes be loud and outgoing, sometimes quiet and insular!
I like people, people and their stories and experiences make me live vicariously through them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I decided to be a host because in January 2007 , I met three travelers on the street and when i found out they were sleeping in their car, i gave them our spare room and a shower and some food for 4 nights. they were awesome and we had a lot of fun, so why not do it again?? Now I've had lots of surfers and lots of unforgettable experiences! :)

Interests

I like nice, open people, I'm a people person and people don't generally hate me. I like trying to grow things and get excited when I can eat the fruits/vegetables of my labour and love. I don't really know what I am going to do with my life, all I know is that I want to travel. It's a bit worrying considering I'm 28! Let's not think about it. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like weird German plays and short stories, specifically post war, post modern, existentialist stuff. I don't meet many people who like that too, but when I do, they sound much smarter about it than I do!
I like French films. I just love them.

I recently bought an adult colouring book. I'm pretty into it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I do seems completely normal to me. but i guess to others, it might be amazing.
I have worked as security, as an avon lady, a party planner, at burger king (cringe!) and a folder factory.
I lived with a drag queen, and did his make up and find his costumes.
I once spent 3 weeks on adventure course biking 50km, canoeing 50km, and hiking 50km. Rock climbing, abseiling, horse riding, and staying on a haunted island.

I have some awesome ghost stories too. :)
I guess what makes me me, is that I am so willing to learn, and so willing to share.
going to germany to be an au pair... ok maybe not amazing to some people.....

Teach, Learn, Share

I make awesome pasta, and curry. I know alot about Dunedin, and love to show people around. i have alot to share. just ask.
I would love to practice my German, and learn more French.

My goal is to walk the Camino de Santiago from Le Puy next May, so any advice would be great!

I really want to learn about other cultures and places. I want a wealth of experience so that I can pass it on.
