ABOUT ME

I'm a traveller at heart and love being in new places and meeting new people. Originally from Melbourne, my boyfriend and I have left the corporate world behind us for a little while to explore the real world! Our travels currently find us in Europe and we've loved the adventure so far.

When not travelling I work in the Human Resources field, specifically in Learning and Development, I like what I do because it is all about people - so now I am applying that same interest to travelling the world and seeing things from different perspectives!

I love a good chat, even better if its over a glass of wine.

Have heard a lot about it, and know fellow travellers who have been involved, but am new myself.

Interests

Aside from travel, I love reading and enjoy the odd glass of wine with friends. I would also list cheese amongst my interests :)

When able to maintain a routine I like to keep active by running or cycling - travel has somewhat decreased the frequency of exercise I must admit!

I love music of most types, currently very much into Alt J, although am very open to various genres depending on the mood.

I love food but don't pretend to be a particularly good cook... Yet! Maybe one day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all these three things and find it hard to come up with a list of favourites!

When it comes to books, most genres appeal. Current favourite authors include Malcolm Gladwell and Jon Ronson. All time favourite authors include Nick Hornby and Marian Keyes. There are too many favourite books to list!

Music - love listening to it and playing it (when I have access to a piano which isn't as often these days). Acoustic and folksy music is on my frequently played list at the moment, it goes with summer and travel.

Movies - depending on the mood, I like movies that make you think just as much as ones that make you not think. On my must see list is the Great Gatsby,and on my all time favourite list is anything by Baz Luhrman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting India three times in one year is one of my top amazing things done and seen - a very special place!
