Travelling South East Asia - trying new things (saying yes to everything), learning about cultures, meeting new people and having fun!!

ABOUT ME

I am a fun, easy going and adventurous person! After graduating Uni and working for 2 years I decided to come traveling and explore SE Asia so far have been to Thailand, Laos and Vietnam!

In Vietnam I spent 6 weeks volunteering as an English teacher on the outskirts of Hanoi. I enjoyed this experience as I as able to meet, live, learn and help local people. I also spent a week volunteering in Thailand teaching English too again i saw and tried many interesting things. In Malaysia i volunteered oat a hostel who also help the community for example with homeless hairwash PE lessons in a refugee school and swimming lessons with disabilities.

I am currently in Klaten, Java, Indonesia volunteering teaching English in a hotel and cruise ship training school.

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people and share about cultures with them and is much more than just a bed for the night!

About me - I am an active person who enjoys walking, cycling, swimming, scuba diving and trekking amongst other things.

Looking for hosts. Will be hosting when I'm back in UK :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE couchsurfed in Vietnam, Singapore and indonesia. And met up with people from CS in Malaysia. I also use the Workaway site to volunteer and stay with local people.

Well here are 2.... getting my open water PADI and scuba diving in Thailand - cant wait to use it again!!

And also living and volunteering in the outskirts of Hanoi teaching English!
