About Me

My name is Nicky, and if you want to have a chill, cool and welcoming SF experience come stay at my fresh apartment in Laurel Heights. I work a lot (unfortunately), but once upon a time I ditched my 9-5 job, donated all my sh*t to the local goodwill, and got on a plane to New Zealand where I hitch hiked from the far north to the far south, hiking remote wilderness trails, camping in road side ravines, staying at quirky hostels, and doing all sorts of other life changing, unforgettable things I'll hold close to my heart until the day I kick the can "ashes and dust". I can't help but feel the most profound enthusiasm for anyone who is out to see the world - that's why I'm on couch surfing. If I can enable one person's enjoyment of this amazing world we live in, by providing local insights and a place to rest the ol' head, then I'll be a happy guy.

Interests

Soccer, doing stuff without really thinking it through too much, running, overly ambitious road trips, going to remote places to see how scary and invigorating it feels to be alone in the wilderness, dreaming big, getting shi*t done (generally speaking), learning new things, being social (sometimes) and just living the freaking dream non-stop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I scored the game winning goal in the Ivy League Championship my final year of university after getting a terrible surgery the previous winter and believing my time as an athlete was over forever - never give up!
