About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the lighter side of life...

ABOUT ME

I love having a laugh - things shouldn't be too serious in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stumbled upon the couch surfing website via the Adventure Cycling webite that i regularly use and thought "what a great idea"...so, I'm here to meet some new people and show them my hospitality.

Interests

Mountain biking, running, swimming , travelling and being in the outdoors are the main things that fire me up in life.
I've been doing a fair bit of mountain biking for the past 3-5 years and have found that it's a great way to get out and see some really cool and beautiful parts of the world. One of my recent favourites was riding in Chamonix in the French Alps - it was out of this world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading....I seem to gravitate to travel narratives, peoples biographies and wilderness orientated books. I just finished an awesome book - Exploers of the Infinite (i'd highly recommend it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing the Tour du Mont Blanc - a 160km, 10 day hike in France/Italy and Switzerland was one of the most beautiful things that I've seen lately.

I was particularly touched talking to some volunteer workers in Vietnam recently who were working for an organisation called Room-to-Read. These guys raise funds from westerners and build libraries/schools and computer rooms in poor villages in countries such as Vietnam, Nepal, Laos and India. An awesome charity that is doing great things.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Jordan, Laos, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Algeria, Australia, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom
