Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Niclas,
I am 27 years old and currently live in beautiful Nuremberg, Germany. I finished my studies in cultural science last year and now studiing my Second studies in Psychologie in Bamberg.
I like to travel to places I haven't been before, love to meet new people, get in touch with their perspective on life and try to be as open-minded as possible.
At the moment I am hitchhiking to Morocco go kite-Surfing there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to get to know places through the perspective of the people who live there. I hope this will give me the opportunity to wander off the dusty paths of the tourists and to look behind the facades of the souvenir shops.
Interests
In my free time I like to be active in sports and I am interested in any cultural events.
I have already practised several sports over a longer period of time. For example Muay Thai, handball, swimming, badminton, fitness, horse riding and skateboarding. But I am always open for new things and I would like to pay more attention to other sports disciplines in the future.
With friends, I like to go to art exhibitions, concerts, festivals, theatres and performances.
In general, my friends always describe me as a bundle of energy who always wants to be active in his free time and always wants to try out and experience new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost every kind of music except German Schlager.
At home, I often like to rummage around in my record collection, which mainly contains 80s and 90s classics as well as some house and techno DJ records.
My Spotify playlist is full of soul, funk and indie tracks that I like to listen to.
I don’t really watch a lot of films ore series because I always fall asleep.
For books I really enjoy psychological books which explain things about human behavior and other themes like that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As part of my studies, I had a film project in Tunisia in summer 2019. On my first day in Tunis, I hiked up one of the big hills to get an overview of the city. When I reached the top and enjoyed the view, a police car honked behind me and 4 policemen got out. They asked me what I was doing here and when I replied that I was just going for a walk, they said that this was no safe place to go for a walk. They asked me, after showing me their IDs, to get into their car and drive me to what they said was a safe place for me. When I told them in the car that it was my first day in Tunis and that I didn't know the city yet, they took me on a little tour of the city and showed me some great places. At the end of the little tourist tour in the police car, they let me out at the entrance of the zoo because they thought it would be a safe place for me to stay. So I got to know the city through a little tour in the police car and through the stories of the nice police officers.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn and I also love to let people be part about what I already learned.
