I'm Nico! Just an average human, travelling, volunteering, honing my ideas and stepping out of my comfort zone. In 2023 I started working as a hiking and biking guide for an active travel company and it's been nothing short of amazing!

I have an insatiable curiosity and I love learning. My interests are eclectic and esoteric: cosmology, solidarity economy, food sovereignty, whole body mental health, meditation, psychology, wildlife, the natural and supernatural.

I enjoy paradigm shifts, non linear thinking and neurodivergence. However, I am also a big fan of not taking anything seriously, laughing hysterically and dancing spontaneously. It depends on the day. However, something that does not depend on the day, is my love of all things bread related.

I spend my free time reading, cooking and baking as well as hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, surfing. My happy place is when I'm moving, ideally outside enjoying nature.
