PHILOSOPHY
It's all a matter of pereception.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Met some really interesting people on a five week trip through Brasil, Paraguay and Argentina. As well as on the Eurotrip through Central Europe I made last year. It was really great to get to know these places the couchsurfing way. And I'd be happy to give something back. So if you're looking for a place to stay in the center of Leuven, feel free to send me a message, and I'll see what I can do. I share a house with two room mates (two great guys my age), so I don't have the place to host that many people. But I have a big couch available , and there's room for one or two inflatable matrasses or whatever you're bringing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All the great people who hosted me in the past:
- Sandro Giardano from Sao Paulo (Brasil)
- Felipe Fernandes from Curitiba (Brasil)
- Nacho Camara from Cordoba (Argentina)
- Ana Zakrajsek from Ljubljana (Slovenia)
- Darko from Vienna (Austria)
We also had a lesser couchsurfing experience in BA, but no hard feelings.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Music: I'm open to everything brought with passion and devotion, going from folk, over new classical, to noiserock and drum 'n' bass. Commercial r'n'b and EDM = not my cup of tea. Some bands I currently listen to a lot are Maybeshewill, Flying Horseman, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, ...
Movies: although there are a few Hollywood masterpieces I love (Scarface, The Lord of the Rings, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, ...), I ussually prefer more alternative cinema with intriguing characters and a good plot rather than big explosions.
Books: I have to admit I don't take enough time to read a lot of books. But maybe that 'll change now that use public transport quite often. Anyway, some interesting lecture: Kurt Cobain - Diaries & Mark Everett - Things The Grandchildren Should Know
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
The extreme gap between rich and poor in South America. The image that sticks with me the most is that of a few hundreds of Natives living in "tents" made of plastic on Asuncions main square... It's hard to describe to someone who wasn't there though.
The incredible globalisation all over the world and especially in Europe. For instance the Argentian grill restaurant on the main square of Prague's old town, a Belgian bar in the centre of Bratislava, etc. Plus everybody speaks English and Spanish it seems.
