Hi! We are Clari and Nico, two passionate travelers who believe that the world is best discovered through people, shared moments, and real experiences.
Traveling has shaped our lives from a very young age. It feeds our curiosity, opens our minds, and constantly teaches us new ways of seeing the world. We love discovering new places, learning about local cultures and traditions, listening to people’s stories, and connecting beyond the surface.

We have traveled across all of South America, Mexico, the USA, Cuba, many countries in Europe, Africa, and parts of Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines. We have also lived in Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Spain, and New Zealand—experiences that deeply shaped the way we see the world and how we travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For us, Couchsurfing is about living a place like a local: sharing everyday life, cooking together, exchanging stories, exploring neighborhoods, and understanding each landscape through the eyes of the people who live there—not through a tourist guide.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love books, especially real-life stories, travel literature, and books about self-discovery. Music is always present in our lives: from rock and reggae to Argentine tango and rhythms from all over the world. Nico loves percussion instruments (an enthusiastic apprentice 😄), and cooking is a big passion for both of us—meat recipes from Argentina, Italian dishes learned while living in Italy, and a growing curiosity for vegetables and new flavors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some moments stay with us forever: sleeping in the desert, starry skies, the warmth of a fire, long conversations, and silent understandings. We consider ourselves open-minded, honest, tidy, and always willing to help. Listening comes first, advice later. Sharing, helping, and making people feel good is something that truly makes us happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nico studied Tourism and, over time, stopped traveling only with guidebooks to start traveling with his body, intuition, and curiosity. Clari is an accountant by profession, but tourism and travel have always been her true passion and way of life.
Since leaving Argentina in 2019, the plan was just a few months… but the journey continues, full of learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences. We travel alone, yet we are never really alone—because traveling is shared happiness.

We are honest and easygoing people who love helping, sharing experiences, and making others feel good, because for us enjoyment is found on the way—not at the destination—and people are the way.
