ABOUT ME

After 13 years living in abroad (in the US, Bolivia, France, Switzerland, Scotland, Ethiopia and Türkiye), I am now back to Germany, currently residing in Berlin where I am building my new home for the foreseeable future. I am a political consultant working in international development. While at times outgoing, I tend to be more quiet. However, I always enjoy meeting new people and making new connections. When not working, I spent my time doing sports, meeting friends, playing improv theatre, practicing Yoga...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was a student I used couchsurfing a lot and now at this point aim to use it more when solo travelling. It's just the best way to get to know people along the journey. I have received so much hospitality while travelling, be it hitchhiking or being hosted. Whenever I can, I try to offer a lift or a couch to someone else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experiences were all great! I used it mostly while I was a student, mainly in Europe but also in Latin America.

I am into sports (to clear my head). Lately getting more into Yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
I enjoy going the theatre, see exhibitions.

I always remember the people that I have met when traveling. That alone is something inspirational to me. It is about this wonderful feeling when I have felt truly connected to someone even though we only knew each other for a few hours/days.
