CURRENT MISSION

Finding a new Mission.

During my studies in computer science in Munich, I spend a lot of my free time cooking and meeting with friends as well as flying glider planes. I just graduated and I spend three months in San Jose, CA for an Internship. Now I have a few weeks of time to travel and figure out what should come next.

ABOUT ME

I need a vision so I can do what I do with passion.
While always thinking about some theoretical problems - sometimes more philosophical, sometimes more political - I like to learn about different perspectives and cultures. Besides that, I always try to get involved in some physical activities like running, hiking, biking or canoeing to just name my favorites of the past month.
All in all, I try to find the right balance between mental and physical exercises and have lots of fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to share experiences and explore the unknown. That's why I try to host whenever possible, attend meetups or try to surf myself. I like discussions of any kind, especially while cooling or sharing a drink.
During my travels, I enjoy having not too many plans so I am flexible and can try things I maybe just heard about from another traveler a few days ago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of interesting and open-minded people, enjoyed their stories and their hospitality. While still in touch with some other couchsurfers from my previous travels it now has been a while since I was really actively involved. The reason for this for taking a break of couchsufring was a dissatisfaction with some of my experiences. But as I really appreciate the goal of this community I want to give it another try!

兴趣

I love flying glider planes, philosophy and discussions about politics, and culture. Not to forget that I'm a computer scientist and of cause have fon talking about some technologies.

I try to keep it short:
Gran Torino, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather and The Matrix are among my favorite movies
My favoured Books are 1984, Brave new World, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (well this sometimes a little to much my life) and The Old Man and the Sea form Ernest Hemingway.

While I enjoy Flying (including acrobatics) and Skydiving I pretty much like early morning hikes, am fascinated by mountains, moors, and any other wonderful landscape.

More into listening and learning than teaching... but always happy to share knowledge and for topics where its a more about an opinion I like to exchange arguments.
