About Me
Hey :)
Currently I'm taking a break from studying, thus working as a teacher in Nantes. Here I try to meet some new friends, eat as much caramel-crėpes as possible, finish at least one french book, master all the weird vocals in this beautiful language-short: just enjoy this experience as much as possible.
When I travel, I like to be surprised. Getting lost is one of my favourite activities, just to see where I will end up. This is also a reason why I like couchsurfing-you never know who you will meet or what will happen.
I'm calm, sometimes shy. This doesn't mean that I don't like meeting new persons, I'm just more a listener than a talker and may need some time to warm up.
Things that make me happy
I like little things, drinking tea, the smell of books, visiting museums (the stranger the better), Winnie the Pooh and the small Prince, hear french people speak, see how different people write a laughing sound
I love spending hours in trains, just looking outside, especially at night; cooking without a recipe and get excited when it tastes nice; making food from Austria to comfort myself and feel at home; laughing just because
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
You can travel and be happy by yourself, but every experience is more fun when shared.
Interests
I'm a jill of all trades, but master of none. Working with my hands in all sorts of ways is what I like doing. I can spin, weave, sew clothes, crochet, cook, bind books, make birthday cards, repair tables... If you ever need something fixed-I can probably do it, I just don't promise that it'll be perfect (or finished within three years)
I love reading, often childrens books, books that make me sad or cheer me up, books to keep me busy in the bus or to keep me from getting bored-there's a book for every situation in life.
Biking, now climbing, to move myself and be a bit more outside. I really enjoy both, but I'm not particularly good at either.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not so much of a movie girl, but I really love books-after all, I'm studying German for a reason. I especially enjoy reading books written for younger people and children, because quite often they are so light-hearted and meaningful at the same time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
European Juggling Convention in summer 2016. Spendig eight days camping, training and having fun with over 3000 circus artists was a fantastic experience.
Moving to France for work all alone without speaking french properly (I'm still proud of myself)
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that everyone has something interesting or important they can teach, no matter where they are from or what kind of education they have. People who are passionate are always great to listen to. I gave German lessons to refugees, and I often got the feeling that I learned more in these hours than my students.
No need to have the same opinion, as long as one can accept being different.
