ABOUT ME

Cynthia :

Eldest of 4 (twin brothers and a sister), I have a good group of friends I've had since I was a kid.
I grew up on Sophia Antipolis science park, on the french riviera.
My higher education was in an international school (CIV).
Law University was in Nice and Bordeaux.

I've worked for 10 years as a civil servant in local government and have gained a valuable experience in the private sector in the UK for a year and a half.

Nicolas :

I've got a twin brother. I grew up near Avignon in the South of France (Provence) and studied computer science in Sophia Antipolis.

After a few year's work as a computer science engineer, I travelled around Australia for about a year with a working holiday visa. When back in France, I created a juice and smoothie bar in Cannes and ran it for a bit more than two years. I then sold my company and have lived a new travel adventure with my partner Cynthia during 11 months in Latin America.

We faced new professional challenges in London and just left the UK to go on a new adventure in the Caribbean!

I've had a light experience since I signed in but intend to change this !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cynthia :
I was glad to host a group of americans during day time with my friend Gaëlle, who was part of the Aussie trip : we took them to a very typical provençal lunch and showed them around. We took them in particular to Antibes's Fort Carré and gave explanations about the region, the vegetal species, etc.

Nicolas has no CS experience yet.

Interests

Cynthia :

I enjoy sports, taking pictures, watching birds, reading, going out with friends, dancing salsa, singing...

Nicolas:

I like to play beach volley, practice mountain sports, meet people, have a beer with friends, read a good book, go for a hike... and nature in general.

About us two :

We love arts (museums, exhibitions, architecture and design, live shows, etc) and spend more and more time drawing and painting. We are currently learning the watercolour technique.

We are curious so we love to travel and meet different people and cultures. We like to participate and make ourselves useful.
