Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Just to do as much travelling as I can whilst I have the time and to get to know as many people as possible from all over the world
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a student at Oxford University. Before coming I worked and travelled in China for a year... I love absolutely everything about travelling: meeting people, eating crazy foods, trekking in the middle of nowhere, partying in the big cities, haggling for anything and everything...
PHILOSOPHY
Get out there and do it... Even disastrous experiences are better than never getting out of your comfort zone!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a student and am happy to show around anyone who comes to Oxford! I haven't really used couch surfing yet but have heard amazing stories from other people and want to get involved.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm still very new to the community and haven't had many opportunities either to go travelling or to host in the last few months, but I'm hoping to change that!
Intereses
I'm trying to become a writer and wrote a book about my experiences in China last year. I especially love to learn about people's individual stories and their different ways of looking at the world. I'm a big talker and really enjoy good conversations, and I try hard to learn other languages so that I can always communicate with new people.
Sport is a big part of my life, especially football and racquet sports.
I also do a lot of classical music. I play the piano, the bassoon and am in a choir.

Música, películas y libros
Books- Great travel writers like Colin Thubron, Paul Theroux, Bruce Chatwin and Jack Kerouac, and every author that makes me see things differently
Music- (almost)anything
Films- All sorts but particularly World Cinema
Algo increíble que he hecho
Travelling across the Tibetan regions of Sichuan and Qinghai: meeting monks, motorbike riding locals, endless policemen and soldiers, a living Buddha, several rabid dogs and countless yaks!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
You can learn so much from even the most fleeting encounters with people. Stop and talk to anyone you can. Meet one person and you have fun; meet 20 and you start to understand a country.
