Hi! :)
I'm Nicola and I come from a small village in northern Italy countryside.
For the last couple of years I've been working as a librarian in a small local library, and this is definitley the work I love. What I like the most about it is that it doesn't involve selling anything to anyone, no struggle to perform better but just doing my best to offer a good service to the people coming to search for a book. I honestly feel quite grateful for having this luck.
This is the work I will probably do in the future, but now, after some somehow tough years, I felt like I needed to give a spin to the weel a little bit, be away from home again and see some more of the world. Sooo in the beginning of February I resigned from work and I left home for a big and slow trip towards central Asia. I'm very excited to travel east from Europe and see how people, places, faces, food and landscape change. To experience how places like Uzbekistan or Mongolia don't exist on a different planet, but they are connected to my home just by some amount (a big one actually ahaha) of steps that I will be able to take in the coming months :)
I can't wait to spend some days and evenings with the people who live on the way, to hear some stories and hopefully to make some friends, and this is why I plan to use Couchsurfing as much as I can!

About me, I'm a really adaptable and patient person, always seeing the point in everyone opinion and position.
I try to have many hobbies, but what I like the most is reading and literature, and also exploring, hiking and being in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used it during a bike trip in the Netherlands with a friend, and after that I kept surfing now and then during my trips, always getting the chance to meet nice, interesting and expecially various kind of people. It's a great way to get out of your usual bubble and meet people you wouldn't ever get to know otherwise.
