ME: I come from all over the South of England. Born north of London, grew up in the Westcountry, spent early adult years in Brighton, went to university in London, did a stint in Vancouver, Canada, and finally settled in Paris, France, a few years ago. Though i'm a natural traveller, and always on the move.

The local language motivates my choice of adoptive country, and while I still have far to go with French, i'm already itching to start the learning process with Spanish. I've just spent 4 months tasting the language, cultures, foods, people (not literally!), dances and customs of some South American countries, and loved every second of it. Currently contemplating the possibility of a past life as an Inca queen.

Alongside all future travel plans, I intend to explore an entirely new career path, with hands on art, creativity, and some 'meaning' whatever that might be, as top priorities in my search. I love arty stuff, getting my hands dirty, making a mess, experimenting with materials of whatever I can find, and hopefully, ideally, creating something that is an improvement on it's individual parts. On the other hand, I also like drawing, nice and neatly, keeping within the lines and shapes of the norm, hoping to reflect back a sort of version of reality. It's calming and it's disciplining. Smooth and shiny. Sculpture is the next hobby on the horizon.

Having travelled around fairly sizeable chunks of the world, I appreciate the value of meeting people from different cultures, especially on their home turf. Travelling is great, but without that local touch, you miss out on the best part of the journey.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Non fiction, and documentaries as I love to learn, uplifting stories for the love of life, comedy even though good humour is hard to come by, books in different languages to boost my skills and confidence, and mostly all music except for metal and country.
Books- Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, Hygiene de l'assassin by Amelie Nothomb, Weaveworld by Clive Barker, Films- Interstellar, Pans Labyrinth, Music- Manu Chao, Jessie Ware, recently discovered Polo and Pan, and Monsieur Periné.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Look down into the Garganta Del Diablo (devil's throat) of Iguazu falls, Argentina, in a thunder and lightening storm. The intensity of nature at that moment was pretty amazing.

English, Spanish, or French conversation, anecdotes and stories of past adventures, dreams of those to come, drinks and giggles, art/design appreciation, and hopefully some generally good times. I love drawing the human figure and would be happy to teach others how to. I'm not a natural cook, but I like to cook with others, so with a little help, and an idea of something tasty in mind, the results are usually quite special.
