Hi, Couch Surfer!
I'm Nicola, from Milan, the city where I was born and raised.
I live alone, with a cat, at the gates of the city. I am a lover of the company and definitely a person with a kind and positive soul. I love my life, I tend to smile often, I play soccer and beach volleyball, I am a passionate reader and I enjoy writing. I've always wanted to travel and explore the world but because of my job and other little things I don't have so much free time.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Work and other small impediments, put together, have delayed my desire to explore the world. Desire that in recent times, however, has rekindled strongly. And although I have less energy than I had at twenty, I think it is right now to start somewhere.
So, since I cannot travel a lot I like the idea to let pieces of the World come to me trough you Couch Surfers 😀
Knowing new people and new cultures is like to have a trip (even if a little one) and a perfect chance to see my culture with a different perspective.

Interesses

I like to have conversations and cultural exchanges but let me be honest: my English is not the best. It is therefore my primary interest to improve it. Leave me a new word, a concept that I did not know before, an accent that until now I ignore, and you will know that you have taken part in the formation of a future traveler.

Beyond that, I read a lot, in my house there is always music of any kind and genre. I play soccer and Beach Volley, I watch TV series and movies. I eat anything and enjoy spending time in the kitchen in company.

I am fascinated by people and different cultures. Understand how much variety exists in the world, through the total tolerance of any differences.

My motto is:

Do not do to others what you would not do to yourself.

A bed, a sofa, a kitchen, a 100mb / s WiFi connection, a fun conversation, some Italian food and a tour of the city, even late at night if I do not have to work the next day. I have a very calm and sociable cat, that does not bother me in any way.
