Hola!

A quick summary of who I am. My name is Nico, I'm currently a 21 year business student in Rotterdam, currently on a gap year and working abroad. I am half Dutch half Venezuelan born in the beautiful country of Aruba. I have had the opportunity of living in different places and learning about new cultures. I completed my high-school in the Costa Blanca in Spain. After that I completed my BSc. in International Business Administration in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. During this studies I also lived in Los Angeles, CA for half a year! Currently I am living in Hangzhou, China, but in december I am planning on moving to Colombia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through my travels across different countries around the world I have experienced different people and cultures. Along with my study this has allowed me to get to know people from all over the world. Couchsurfing provides a truly local experience, where one can experience the city in the way its people do it. That is what I like the most about couchsurfing. The people that usually host on couchsurfing tend to be some of the most open, sociable people I have met, which is why I love meeting new people through this platform!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read the whole series of game of thrones (although unfortunately the books arent keeping up with the series). I mostly like all kinds of music. Although currently I am most excited about progressive house, with artists such as Vicetone & tritonal I can easily enjoy many other types of music and am always open to hear new songs.

I am fluent in three different languages; Dutch, Spanish and English. I think that any person willing to learn any of these would find great help in me.
