About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are travelling around South East Asia for 10 months. This means we can't afford to pay for accomodation every single day. We consider a priority a long term stay in every place we visit, looking out for real knowledgde about the local people and culture. This is the main reason we travel for long time, this gives you the opportunity to learn new ways and traditions of all the places we visit.Because we have a narrow budget, we have been looking out for some alternatives. We already volunteered for 2 months in Thailand in a Restaurant/Bungalows/Cooking School and we are coming back there in September for PetSitting 3 dogs and 2 cats while the owners take some holidays.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Both very open minded about music, always happy to listen something new. Most of the music we carry with us (and a little speaker) is rock ( in all its variations and styles), reggae, organic, latin, chilean, brazilian, jazz, hip hop, etc.

Movies: We love childrens movies and comedies. Also anything related to super heros.

Books: We like to read about philosophy, and some of the classic like Tolstoy and Dickens. Enjoy biographys of different people to understand history better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to our mind is this trip because we waited long time and worked very hard to be in this place now.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are hoping to learn as much as we can of the people and culture of every place we go. Learn how the do things, how they used to, about their costumes, history, animals, plants and everything you could share with us.

We can teach many things related to sports, like and excerise and stretching routines. Also how to play volleyball, basketball, football, ping pong, etc. We could teach about earth sciences in general, geology and mineralogy. We have some knowledge in farming and growing we would be happy to share. About chilean culture and history, also some South American culture.

We would be

Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Peru, Thailand, United States, Venezuela
