Hi i'm Nick 36 .
I've traveled 10 years in the past 20 .i usually do volunteering work but my skills are more suited to the countryside than to cities , also i m starting to get old so now a lot of countries are asking for work permits for volunteering ....
when not travelling i ve been working , as a nurse , a gardener , tour guide , builder .... well you get the jest , i m a fast learner an conscientious worker but i get bored after a while .
For the last 3 years i ve also been a host for volunteer worker in my farm in south west France . good times and amazing summers .
I'm a country geek :)
Also i like to plan my trip ahead so i will probably take a first contact a few month/weeks before i arrive but i will confirm within 2 week of arrival

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people , i m kind of introvert so the first contact is always awkward . but once that's done i'm pretty easy going :).
also like i said most of my travel has been in out of the way places , staying in cities only the time necessary to pass through so ... change is good
