Overview
About Me
Hey, my name is Nicolas, but most people call me Nick.
I’m 31 years old and was born in Germany.
In 2021, I completed my physiotherapy studies.
I like to stay active and spend time outdoors.
In my free time, I enjoy doing a lot of sports, especially tennis and dancing. I also like working out and stretching—it makes me feel great! And I love food.
I’m not a big fan of traditional German food; I prefer dishes from different cultures—but I can’t cook myself.
If you want to make me happy, show me a small restaurant that serves authentic food from India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, or Africa. Or just introduce me to something new I have to try!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to try Couchsurfing because it’s a great way to meet local people and learn about their culture.
Traveling has taught me that there are many different ways to live, and I want to understand and learn from them.
I enjoy sharing stories and experiences, and I believe that most people are kind — sometimes we just see things differently because of culture. But when we take the time to understand each other, everything starts to make sense.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was traveling along the East Coast of Australia in my van, I had one of the most amazing experiences.
I met an Australian guy on a parking lot who had been living in his van for 14 years, teaching people how to surf and just enjoying a simple, free life close to nature.
He invited me to go surfing with him the next morning — completely for free — and even showed me two beaches where we could watch dolphins. Later, he took me to a supermarket and taught me when to get the best cheap fruit that locals buy.
What really touched me was his kindness and openness. He didn’t expect anything in return; he just shared his time and knowledge so naturally. I invited him for dinner as a thank-you, but the whole experience felt like something out of a movie.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook some meals I created myself .
In 2024 I explored different Dance styles and I’d love to share them with you and teach you some moves if you’d like.
