I am new to the site (11/24) and here is my first experience on couchsurfing in december : i travelled to edinburgh, I had booked my hotel but I decided to create an event to find people explore the city with people. locals or travelers. i was so excited because 4 people were registered . At the meeting point i waited 10 mn 20 mn and just one person came. No one had the decency to cancel, and not a word of apology, not cool. is that couchsurfing? :/ that's not my mentality. I hope the next experience will be better.

prove to me that it was just a weird experience, and that the couchsurfing community is united and committed please! ;)
You have to know that i'm a beginner in english , i take lessons on Babbel but i have to improve my skills :p
if you understand what i'm writing it's okay , i can also moove my arms ( thanks to my italian grandmother).
we can meet during the day, for a beer , a coffee, visiting the city ? i'd love it. So let me now if you have time !
For the moment, i've never host someone but maybe i'll start in 2025. it depends on my schedule, working hours, you can always ask me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

i' ve travelled a lot alone this year, i didn't knew couchsurfing at this moment, and i spent too much time alone.

i'm interested in discover countries , landscape, food,...but it missed always something.
the most important for me is to connect with people : how do they live, what they like to do after work, their culture, hobbies etc..
