Hi !
I am Nicolas, living in Tokyo, and travelling as much as I can.
I have worked in 13 countries so far.

PHILOSOPHY

I would rather walk randomly in a city than follow a guided tour.
I believe that people are good, and that kindness and education makes the world a better place, little by little.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted many people via Couchsurfing in France.
Since I moved, many friends (mostly outside Couchsurfing though) come visit Japan and stay at my place :-)
I love showing people around my area (central Tokyo), there are always interesting things that locals know and that are not on guidebooks.

Interests

I LOVE learning languages, especially the small ones spoken by a village or two in the middle of nowhere... can't explain why !
I also love juggling, hosting house parties at my place, cooking, windsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can almost say the Dutch word "Graag".

In my spare time I developed an app called "AnkiDroid", now it has about a million users. I make zero money out of it (free, no ads, open source), because I just hope it helps many people learn languages :-)

I can teach juggling, French food cooking.
And also languages.
