About Me
When I started going to my university, I set a goal for myself that I would travel to at least one new country each year. Since that very first trip, I haven't been able to stop, and I doubt that's ever going to change.
In 2016, my husband Mitchell, and I moved to South Korea to teach English and take our adventures a bit further! This dive into the Korean culture and way of life has absolutely changed our lives. After returning to the US, it has gotten a little boring since we’re not the foreigners any more. We don’t ever want to stop reaching out and meeting new adventurers like us!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The monotony of everyday life is so boring, and each time I go home after a trip, I'm so ready to go on the next one. THE ADVENTURE AWAITS! Obviously, we believe the more, the merrier!
I think the biggest thing that has affected every excursion I've taken is the people that I've shared it with. Having incredible, like-minded people out there to become friends with, go on adventures with, and share stories (and beer) with is the best!
Interests
I love all things art, music, food, culture, and travel. I'm the type to dive right in regardless of first impressions, because life's too short to overthink everything. "But it would be a good story." I believe that the most spontaneous, scary, and exciting ideas are the best ones because those are the moments that make life worth living. I also enjoy caring for my children, Clove (my cat) and Coleslaw (my fish), as well as growing plants with my husband.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Top-loaded a bus for 5 hours in the Philippines on the world's 9th most dangerous highway. When we arrived at our destination, we hiked up to a village in the mountains and got a traditional Kalingan tattoo from a 98 year old mambabatok. Incredible story and experience!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of passion in my life, and I love exchanging stories about travels with the people I meet. It brings me joy, and I get so inspired when we just get to hang out and gush about things that have changed our lives.
