I am Master Thesis away from finishing my Master degree in Computer Science. I have been living in Zagreb (capital of Croatia, just for the record) for the past 5 years, mostly studying and doing what students do :D
I have a boyfriend who is from Spain and is currently living and working in Zagreb (waiting for me to finish my studies), and in February we are both moving to Barcelona. Looking forward to it ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I really like the idea behing couch surfing, although I have never done it so far (both as a surfer or a host), but now I am eager to change that because I am moving to Barcelona :D and also so far I have lived in a student dorm so it was close to impossible to host anyone there :)

Interests

I like playing tennis, running, gym, rolling. I love the beach and seaside (thanks Croatia for having such a great coast <3 ). On more freak-ish side, I like to play League of Legends :D My interests also include a wide area of Computer Science, like machine learning, web development, computer security and such.

Music, Movies, and Books

To be honest, I do not read a lot, so usually an answer to this question is The little prince (from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, but I believe everyone know that) because it is unbelivebly deep and beautiful, and I hope one day I will learn french to be able to read it in an original language. Other than that, there is one more author I liked in my poor book reading career, and that is Albert Camus.

From music, I like a lot of genres. I had phases ranging from black and death metal (some time ago, like 10 years or so) all the way to pop. Lately artists or bands I really like are Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher, RHCP, Nirvana, Pearl Jam but also stuff like Lana del Rey, Lorde, Shakira (old stuff in spanish, it helps me with learning spanish :D ) and usually covers of songs of singers who do not really know how to sing hehe (Katy Perry for example :P)

When it comes to movies, movie has to be really interesting for me not to fall asleep. That is why I rarely go to cinema, close to never. I never watched Star Wars or Godfather, which are classics according to some. As one of my favorite movies (and those are basically all the movies I managed to watch in full) is The Shutter Island. The other one would be V for Vendetta. I have to say, I am more of a tv series person, and it is not really hard to say which series is my favorite -> Breaking Bad
