About Me
Hello!
I love music, food and podcasts, subways when I have enough time to get lost in them, and a good magazine. In my spare time I blog about Lifestyle in Toronto and spend lots of time attending events, laying in the park, and sipping spirits.
I recently moved to London, UK and would love to meet with anyone who knows a certain neighbourhood well that can show me around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been so happy with my couch surfing experience so far. I've done it twice in NY (as a guest) and both times I had awesome hosts who were truly interested in showing me around their neighbourhoods. Because I've been traveling a lot the past while I haven't had a chance to reciprocate.
I am moving to London in about a week and plan to stay a year and travel around Europe etc., so I'm interested in meeting up with anyone in the area who can show me hidden gems :) and help me learn Spanish/French/Portuguese!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to hip hop/ r&b/pop/blues - I sing, and grew up in a very musical family. The last book that I read was The Sisters Brothers, a fantastic dark comedy that was up for some prestigious awards in Canada. I love anything by the Cohen brothers, and my favourite magazines are Suitcase, Vanity Fair, and Pop Africana.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year I stayed on private island in Tahiti that was once owned by Marlon Brando and had meals there by a Michelan star chef.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be happy to practice my pitiful French and non-existent Spanish with anyone patient enough. I'm pretty good at English, so if you want to try yours out, let me know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good laugh, cooking, musical suggestions, back up vocals.
