About Me

* Currently only accepting female guests since my space is so small. :)
I’m originally from NJ, USA. I can recommend my favorite diners!
.
.
Se habla español :)
.

BEFORE OFFERING TO HOST PLEASE READ:
I need smoke free homes — no smoking inside the house, although I’ve stayed with guests who smoke before — (I gotta guard those singer vocal chords)
.
+ I’m low maintenance, couch, sleeping bag, etc. is cool, but if I have a room — a lock for privacy is best.
.
I often burst into song, too — if these things are things that don’t vibe with you or your lifestyle, no worries, just please keep this in mind when offering to host me!
.
BEFORE ADDING ME:
If I haven’t met you personally, please don’t add me. It’s adding a false sense of security for the strangers meeting up with you, and I can’t vouch for your character if I haven’t met you.
.
“I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me, but it's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the world.”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sometimes I feel I was born in the wrong decade. I’m studying healthcare and was previously a BHT. Christian, hopeful romantic, self proclaimed hipster. Musical theatre trained but still incredibly accident prone. I’m an avid hiker! I’m only a foodie when it comes to tacos, and I’m always down for a photoshoot + open to learning new things and adventuring. In my spare time I watch foreign films, documentaries, & perform my work at Slam Poetry open mics. I currently work as an independent contractor.

If you’re sensitive to essential oil scents, or are allergic to dogs, or Christian music, my place is probably not a good fit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- I love meeting new people!
- spontaneous road trips.
- I love to teach & be taught new things.
- I travel a lot for work.
My travel + lodging isn’t normally compensated so I try to manage my income and travels so they’re worthwhile profit-wise.

I like to consider myself a traveler, not a tourist. Part of the reason why I like to hang with locals.

Drove ten hours from Phoenix to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Partied during SXSW with the Gorillaz producer.

Met Ben Stiller & Ian McKellen in the same night.

Hugged Bob Goff.

Took a selfie with Steve Carrell.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach origami, make friendship bracelets, + give Spanish lessons.

I love kids + I work with them often (teaching + camp counselor).

I also love writing, going to Open Mic & Trivia nights.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you where you can find the best tacos (outside of Mexico) in NJ, NYC, and the following cities:
- Tempe, AZ
- San Diego, CA
- Watsonville, CA
- San Francisco, CA
- St. George, UT
- Salt Lake City, UT
- Seattle, WA
- Dallas, TX

I’m laid back and outgoing at the same time. I’m a tidy and respectful guest who is open to going out or laying low at home. I don’t snore and I can help out around the house.

It’s hard for me to sit still, but I promise to be a good listener who knows how to have fun and be good company.

— I’d like to learn how to: SUP, wakeboard, go on a hot air balloon, go on a helicopter ride, scuba dive, skin and cook a fish, cliff jump, snowboard, sketch, paintball, rock climb, boulder, light a fire without matches/a lighter, surf, CARVE pumpkins, blow glass/make jewelry, braid hair, and tie dye... if you can teach me, please do!
