Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am brand new to Couchsurfing but my amazing boyfriend Richard is somewhat of a veteran. We are about to take on a year traveling Australia and are interested in meeting up with people there and surfing some couches as the need arises. I'm very excited to try it out, and I've heard nothing but amazing things from everyone I know who's done it. Richard has collected a plethora of incredible stories from his time hosting and being hosted by the wonderful and generous individuals he has met through this organization. I'm looking forward to collecting some of my own :)

Interests

I love making and listening to music of all kinds. My education background is in music and it will forever be a passion of mine.

Art also has a special place in my heart. I love drawing, painting on occasion, photography, and various crafts. I love seeing the work of others as well.

Nature always fills me with wonder. Animals bring me great joy. Landscapes provide limitless amazement.

I decided to drop everything, quit my job, get rid of my stuff, and move to the other side of the world.

I can teach things about music, of course, though will forever be a student.
I can share what I've learned about art. I know a lot about animals.

I'm always happy to learn. I've recently learned to cook but would like to get better. Science is fascinating. Learning is for life.
