ABOUT ME
After four years of studying, I just graduated from the University of Amsterdam in Mediastudies, with a specialisation in Filmstudies. I am currently unemployed and looking for jobs within the film sector (both in the Netherlands and abroad), but this turns out to be difficult. In the meantime, I am considering other ways to spend these days of unlimited freedom (travelling/working abroad etc).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about this concept through a friend when I was considering travelling when I was 19, but never had the guts to actually use it. When I made my couch available after I graduated, I had a really great surfer over at my home. My home turned out to be too small to host anyone, but I did really enjoy meeting someone from a different culture to talk about differences and similairities, and I learned I lot. Even though I am not expecting to use CS as long as I live in my current home, I will definitely reconsider once I move.

My taste in music is very broad, ranging from Rammstein to Sigur Ros, from Daft Punk and Radiohead to Aurora and London Grammar. Mostly, I listen to indie/folk/rock, but I have jazzy periods too and dance to electro/techno/80's/90's.

After all this time, I still cannot figure out a single favorite film. But some of my favorites are There Will Be Blood, BIUTIFUL, In the Mood for Love, Drive, La La Land, Toni Erdmann,

My long time favorite book is the Discovery of Heaven by Harry Mulisch.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I remember very vividly that I had two dreams growing up; I wanted to make a trip in an air-balloon (god knows why), and I wanted to travel the world. My mother was kind enough to grand me my first wish when I turned twelve, she took me for a trip in a balloon! Now it's up to me to make the second dream come true one day..
