Hey👋, we are Nicole and Pietro from Italy.

🌏 In 2018 we decided to leave our job and we started traveling. We went from our home to Singapore by land, without flying, in 7 months. We went through Russia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malesia and Singapore and we enjoyed this experience so much that now we feel the need to travel the rest of the world!

🇮🇸 Since 2020 we have been living and working in Iceland for some months and travelling during the rest of the year.

🌴In 2023 we visited Latin America for 5 months, crossing the Amazon River by boat sleeping in hammocks and discovering many different and interesting cultures between Peru, Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.

🛩 In 2024 has been through Nepal, Bangladesh and India and in 2025 we visited Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines and South Korea.

👩 I( Nicole) speak Italian, French, English and Spanish and I'm now studying Icelandic and Portuguese, I love to get to know foreign cultures and languages.

👨 My husband loves dancing, he teaches break dance and he’s really good in painting and drawing, he is also learning the art of tattooing.

🤙🏼 We’re really easygoing people, we can eat everything and we can sleep everywhere without problems.

🍳 We love to cook and we would love to learn new cooking techniques 🤤

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re on Couchsurfing because we want to be in contact with local people, to be in contact with the real culture and costumes of the places. We love to make friends, to share experiences of life and to learn new things.

We really love music. I prefer english music, Pietro italian’s. I love reading books and Pietro really loves films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We bought a motorbike in Vietnam and we drove all the way through Cambodia and Laos. We also hitchhiked all Borneo from east to west for an entire month and it's been just INCREDIBLE!
Not to talk about the crossing of the Amazon river in slow boats sleeping in hammocks for days.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to share our culture and all we learned while traveling and we would like to learn something about yours. We love languages, so we'd love to learn some basic words of your language.
We love food, we think we cannot truly understand a place without eating like locals

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook you some italian dishes in exchange of tasting something typical of your country. We love eating!
We can also help with chores in the house of course
