I'm a Canadian that loves travelling. . I'm an engineer by trade but my brain is currently occupying itself with a number of left-wing issues. I'm an environmentalist, though not a spiritualist and I'm not a dedicated tree hugger, I just think nature could do with a little more care from us. I'm a minimalist in that I believe it's adventures, people and growth that make us happy, not stuff. My brain totally buys into the local food movement, though my wallet is only supportive half the time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm excited about meeting locals and getting to know places through a local's perspective. I want to be able to travel and not just be a tourist - I want to experience the true culture of places. I find that that's best when you live like a local and so I'm excited to meet new people and hang out with new friends!
