About Me

Hi there!

My son Camilo (9) and I (37) live in the fairy tale town of Marburg, Germany.

Professionally, I help people who tend to lose themselves in others become the free spirits that they in their core are.

In general I'm very interested in the human psyche and why humans behave the way they do. Justice is important to me personally as well as on a global spectrum.

Whenever I meet someone I always want to know how they got to the point in life where they are now. What key moments they had and what drives them. I'm really looking forward to hearing your story :)

Camilo is a smart boy who knows exactly what he wants all while being polite and thoughtful.

He's very interested in cars, especially expensive ones and all other things luxurious and cool 💅😎☺️

We've traveled quite a lot together and did couchsurfing in Italy, workaway in Spain and pet sitting in Germany.
We love to go slow and explore the places we're staying at, connect with locals (Camilo understands and speaks english), discover nature through hiking as well as the town with it's sights, museums and activities.

At home we like a good game night with cards and board games. Our favourites are escape and adventure games. Would love to play with you, if you're into it, too!

If you want, I can cook Camilo's favorite home cooked dish for you (it's not what you would think).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to get to know a place authentically. Also I love to connect and get to know the place through someone else's eyes with their experiences, emotions and stories woven in.

Interests

Psychology and spirituality are a big part of my life (I'm not religious though). To me that means taking responsibility for my actions and life, getting to know myself as well as I can and having a positive impact on people while letting them do them.

Traveling has healed me from a burn out. So yeah, this is an important part of my life too. What lights me up is immersing in my environment and just staying open and living each moment.

Hiking, gardening or even cleaning are wonderful ways to get off the screen (which I have to admit I use too much) and being present.

Camilo likes animals a lot, enjoys horse back riding, playing soccer and playing police.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel South America by myself and hiking up to a glacier in the colombian high lands with three strangers who quickly became friends.
In Peru I stayed with a stranger which ended up being the most authentic peruvian experience I had, including going to a small mountain village to be with his family and celebrate pacha mama.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tell me what fascinates you! I want to know your story and I can share mine if you like. There's so much to learn from that already.
I could teach you some Bavarian accent if you'd like 🤣

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you, or teach you about your personality type if you're interested.
