I graduated with a degree in Wildlife Biology and count myself as one of the lucky ones who have managed to actually find work in my field. I study birds and their ecosystems on a seasonal basis, which has allowed me to live in many different places. Traveling, biology, and the outdoors are just some of my passions and I love to share them with the people that I meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used Couchsurfing to connect with people in towns that I've visited, but I haven't had the opportunity to stay with anyone. I've had several friends and family members who have all had great CS experiences. I'm hoping to have some of my own!!

I have acted as a host on many occasions for Warmshowers.com. If you're not familiar with this site, it's basically couchsurfing but specifically for cross-country cyclists so I do have a lot of experience acting as a host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn't pick just one!
- Stood above wild California Condors while they woke up and took flight
- Ate lunch with a Northern Spotted Owl as my companion
- Lived on the north rim of the Grand Canyon
-Lived on a wildlife reserve while working in South Africa

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope that when I stay with people I get the opportunity to spend some time with them! I'd love to grab a beer or a bite to eat or explore the neighborhood together, all while swapping stories and experiences!
