About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn about the world around me.
ABOUT ME
You could say I have a knack for experiencing weird things. What's one more? I've been bitten by a bat. I've almost bitten my tongue off. My 21st birthday was 9/11. Through it all, I'm still laid back, non-judgemental and a bit earthy. I'm artistic, love to try it all. I like to hang out with friends and family and meeting new people.
I have always wanted to experience the world by living it not just vacationing. I love learning about other cultures and languages. Just one of my hobbies.
I am married, my husband is the one that speaks Japanese fluently. He was born and raised in Japan, his family lives in Okinawa, Japan.
I am a mother of 2 little ones, 5 and 1.5. They are currently my life focus. I do expect to travel the world around many times after they grow up. They have already been to Japan, hopefully when they are a bit older I can take them to explore more of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't know what the meaning of life is, but I feel my meaning is to learn as much as I can about the world around me. I feel like it would be such a waste if I stood stagnant in my own little box. I want to experience what living in someone elses shoes would be like. Living the culture, knowing the language, feeling what home is like for another.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I can only get together with other people and visit. My husband would be too uncomfortable with hosting guests while my kids are so young.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed to Washington state, but that was to stay with family. I've also surfed to Japan, again to see family. Both times were wonderful and made the experience that much better. Better than being stuck in a hotel with no connection.
Interests
Anything art related. I love to draw, paint, photograph, sculpt, sew, pottery, graphics design, web design, etc.
I also like to read, camp, repel, horseback ride, and just hang out with others. I love listening and sharing, learning and teaching.

1. Bring my kids to life
2. Explore Japan
3. Repel off a cliff
4. Move to Texas because I wanted to
Teach, Learn, Share
Currently I am pretty knowledgeable with marriage, relationships, and kids. I can give great life advice in those areas. I am also fairly knowledgeable with many forms of art.
I'm open to learn what anyone wants to teach.
