Hi everyone! I'm originally from the Czech Republic, but Copenhagen has been my lovely home for quite a while now. After a couple of years of exploring the US, I'm super excited to be in Australia, especially Melbourne!

I'm an easygoing person, and I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I've got a bit of a playful side and really enjoy a good laugh and interesting chats. I'm also comfortable with my own company, and I'm always tidy and respectful of shared spaces.

Right now, I'm in a bit of a 'settling down' phase, focusing on finding balance and building genuine connections. I'm hoping to find a temporary place to stay in Melbourne for the start as I get to know the city and figure things out. I work remotely a few days a week and have a background in psychology. I'd love to grab a coffee and have a friendly chat, maybe even explore the city together! I'm really looking forward to meeting some kind people and making some new friends here."

Interests

I'm passionate about psychology, people, and exploring different cultures. You'll often find me active, whether it's teaching yoga, enjoying a workout (I used to be a PT), or grabbing a coffee and going for a nice walk. Honestly, I'm dreaming of getting more into water sports, like surfing or KiteSurfing I once started in Thailand. Growing up partly in the mountains, I really miss snowboarding – my mom always jokes I was skiing before I could walk!

Beyond the physical, I cherish good conversations and spending time with interesting people, always up for a laugh. I also value my quiet time, recharging with walks in nature. I'm a big foodie, Protein, fruits, veggies and nuts are all my go to. I used to go vegan for five years.

Music, Movies, and Books

haha, this section has to be updated this year as I finished two study programmes last year, I am so excited to spend more time reading what I desire rather than what I have to...

Rarely have time to read anything else than psychology books or at least psychology related. Last year's read was Out of Africa, Columbia Travel Experience, and Power of Full Engagement ..so quite random. Would love to read Zimbardo - The Time Paradox, I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and The 100 Years Who Jumped Out of the Window ...

Currently about to start with Yalom's books that I recently got for myself.

Music

As a child, I had two moods when my parents were off busy that I related to music. We had Enya and Falco CDs and I would happily play either and dance around the house. My preference changes with my mood across almost all genres.

Tom Walker, Alt-J never gets old to me.

Enjoy the music of almost all kinds, but am not a large expert. Indie pop, work out rock, party house and then some real music to it

Movies

Spotlight is one of not many that made me cry, True Romance is a choice of sentiment to me.

Last watched were Ricky Gervais and his Muppet (s on the flight to Dubai), out of curiosity. I do enjoy his stand-ups very much

Shows: Queen's Gambit, Suits, etc.

Actually also watching a lot of Ghibli Studio Movies lately and falling for Japanese culture in general.
