About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn languages, culture, and to have a good time

ABOUT ME

I have been traveling for the last 2 years, exploring places and meeting new people. I love it! I have lived in Peru, Ecuador, Spain, and of course my hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy being outside, being with people, and playing music.

PHILOSOPHY

Dream Big and go for it. Every person has a story that I am interested in hearing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently cannot offer a couch because I don't have a home, but the minute I do, I will be offering places to stay for couch surfers. I like to bring a bottle of wine to every house I visit. I also am up for cooking adventures and just sharing good times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1 couch in switzerland. It was great.

Interests

Salsa dancing, playing instruments, cooking, eating, good conversations, lovely people, sports, and being outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter. Dan brown books. Jack Johnson, Journey, Norah Jones, Tom Petty, Darius Rucker, gosh- I have such a mix of music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was one of the first foreigners outside of ecuador to ever visit a native Shuar COmmunity in the Jungle (if you are not invited, they kill you). We went there to build a WWOOFing site. Little did I know we would be greeted with Machetes, bandanas, big smiles, and lots of fish. I'll tell you the rest when I meet ya :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

5 second eye rule- The eyes are the window to the soul. I have learned how to look at someone for 5 seconds and know if they are a good person that I can trust. Look for the twinkle- when you see it, you know.
