ABOUT ME

I'm pretty quiet and shy at first, but friendly. I love being around people but am usually more of a listener than a talker. I care deeply about the people in my life and am overly polite. Also, I nod my head way too much!

Interests

I love to travel, read, write, and hang out with people I love. I eat a mostly vegan diet, am queer, and am a feminist. I love the combination of intelligence and compassion. I try to live a well balanced life of yoga, meditation, drinking, queer dance partying, and reading. Currently I've been doing a little bit of freelancing for the local alternative weekly in my city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went WWOOFing in Hawaii for a few months and every Sunday I went to this beautiful black sand beach. One time when I was there some friends and I heard there had been dolphins swimming near the beach earlier in the day. We swam out to where they had been and were not really expecting to find them but after we were out there for a few minutes they showed up! They were within feet of us and were jumping up in the air and doing tricks. It made me feel extremely giddy- like being 5 years old again!
