About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a free spirit female who loves art, tattoos. I am currently a student majoring in psychology. I got two more semesters left to graduate!
My travel philosophy is quite odd as you might say. I don't really think I travel to make my life entertaining but only for a philosophical experience. I enjoy acquiring images and intriguing thoughts I ponder during my travels. I often have epiphanies.
I don't enjoy my stays at youth hostels/hotel more than I enjoy my stays at my hosts that hosted me when I traveled.
Write 'John Muir' in your request so that I know you have read my profile ;). And please acknowledge that I am 'deaf' in your requests so I don't have to explain that I'm deaf everytime.
"The mountains are calling and I must go". The John Muir quote is a daily reminder for me to follow my dreams and go when it (the opportunity) calls.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went on almost 7 weeks trip island hopping in Greece. At most islands, I stayed with hosts from CouchSurfing. I must say it was one of the best times in my life. I enjoy meeting the local people of that country and learn so much more. As I mentioned that I travel for philosophical experience, by staying at a 'home' of a person gives you many possibilities of learning. Hostels are plain boring, filthy and it does not make you experience the country you are travelling to.
Second experience, I traveled in Europe and in few countries I have stayed with hosts from CouchSurfing. It never failed to intrigue me.
As for hosting, I was so busy with school and cannot really host people because I live in a really horrible campus dormitory. Now, I live in a small cute studio apartment. I strive to increase my hosting experience.
Interests
Writing. If you ask this question, the first thing I will answer is Writing. There is nothing else in this lifetime I enjoy more than writing. I have a chaos of a mind. I enjoy beating my journal/computer/et cetera with my thoughts.
I enjoy traveling because I acquire philosophical experience more than I get during busy year at school. I also write more when I travel than at school.
The rest of my interests and hobbies are reading, laying by the beach reading and writing, hanging out with my close friends, cooking, baking and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I don't listen to them often because of I'm deaf. I am profoundly deaf in one ear and 70 dB at the other. But I sometimes enjoy listening few songs because they have mellow beats or whatsoever that fits my mood.
MOVIES: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (I am such a nerd), romantic comedies, comedies, drama like Brokeback Mountain, The Notebook, The Croods and there's so many more favorites.
BOOKS: Harry Potter, The Fault In Our Stars (I read it two years before it became popular), Looking for Alaska, To Kill A Mockingbird, Mortal Instruments Series and so many more.
