Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few years ago, I traveled around Europe with a lot of couchsurfing, and it was a great experience. I also had nice couchsurfing experiences more recently in Germany, Belgium and Iceland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Alexander von Humboldt" cooperative sailship trips.

The watch from midnight to 4am, alone at the helm of the ship. Across the strait of Dover - the most narrow strait between England and France, the busiest seaway in the world, one of the most dangerous maritime navigation places.

The dark, the wind.
Trying to take the course, absolutely.
Between the waves and the streams, my course flies.

A supertanker at my right.
This huge figure seemed so close...

Trying to take the course...
