Hey! My name is Niels, and I love travel (but you probably saw that coming). I'm on a perpetual journey, which is about to be combined with a teaching position in Amsterdam. Eating, music, dancing and meeting people are key in my journey. I love backpacking, and hope to see more of the world - starting today.

I dig hiking, especially long distance trails, and one of the highlights so far was waking from Massachusetts to Canada in three weeks. I love art, food, new cultures, real talk, long boarding, cats, dogs, wildlife, stargazing, dreaming, poetry, honesty, listening, and did I say food yet?

I did a lot of backpacking in Europe, often sleeping in hostels and small hotels. CS though, offers the opertunity to meet people for real and get a feel for a little of the local life. So what better way to discover and have adventures?

So why not trust me, I am a real person, and I love cats. What could possibly go wrong :P

Music: golly, everything that is remotely dance-able. Love to listen to most things. Classical, softer rock, jazz, blues, folk. Really you have a significant chance I am on board...

Movies: love the miyazaki films. Love old films, like the 40's, 50's, 60's classics. Always in for travel adventures. Decided I wanted to become an English teacher after seeing Dead Poet Society...

Books, well classics mainly. Kinda comes with the job. But again open to suggestions anytime. Favorites range from Junglebook to the Count of Monte Christo :)

Sailed to England from the Netherlands? Gone to three different Bruce Springsteen concerts, which was seriously amazing. Walked a three week thu-hike called the Long Trail to Canada. Visited kashmir, Amritsar and Jerusalem. Went to Jazz clubs in Paris, Madrid and New York.
