I'm from a really small town where nothing ever happens.
I took a year off from university to travel and started a goal to visit 20 countries before my 20th birthday, while I definitely won't reach the goal I am still proud of myself for boarding my first plane alone and being the first in my immediate family to leave the US and visit 7 countries in 3 months.
I'm solo traveling 1/2 because I've gotten tired of waiting on other people to take it seriously and 1/2 because have no friends lol.

On my journey of self discovery, I want to break out of my shy, loner shell, meet new people, when I'm in hostels or am airbnb it's easy for me to be alone and not try to make friends but I can't avoid someone if I'm in their house lol
