About Me

I'm a mechanical engineering student that grew up in a bunch of different places, loves travelling, learning new things, and meeting new people. I have a great memory for useless information, an ever expanding list of favourite foods and an ability to talk about pretty much anything for at least 5 minutes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going on a long trip though Europe this summer and it would be awesome to meet some locals and see a different side of each city, and maybe make some new friends! I'm super easy going so whether you have a restaurant recommendation, just want to meet up for a beer or would even be willing to host me and show off some local culture, just drop a line and we'll see what we can sort out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say my taste in music is alternative, but not good alternative, the kind of alternative that's alternative because nobody else likes it. At least I'm self aware.

I spend far too much time watching movies and TV, mostly fiction, action, and comedy, but I am partial to a bit of the ol' reality TV at the end of a long day.

I'm a big fan of fiction and fantasy books, and popular science books too. It either takes me half a year to read a book or half a day, there is no in between. Always on the hunt for my next great read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked 150km through Costa Rica. I learned that I could live with so much less, and push myself much further than I ever thought possible. Also the importance of well broken in shoes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some interesting stories and funny anecdotes. Super eager to learn about new cultures and people. Also a small present of the edible variety from home (who doesn't like candy from new places?)

Also practice with English and Spanish. I'm trying to learn French and German, but I'm still at a very rudimentary level. Would love more practice though : )

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Bermuda, England, Scotland
