My name is Weronika, however most of my friends call me Nika. I like sharing, making people laugh and finding new places. I think most people see me as someone rather stoic, but trust me when I say I'm really excited to be here! Most of my time I spent studying foreign languages (or reading linguistic trivia and randomly selected articles pretending to study).
Sadly, I am not really in an ideal position to host someone right now (although I think in situations that fall into "really urgent" category, I might be able to help) but I'd absolutely love to show you Wrocław since I don't believe I could ever grow bored of it and I hate thinking someone hasn't enjoyed their stay in this city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would like to meet people, use the languages I study (even though it might take me a while to gather the courage at first), see new points of view, hear as many stories as I possibly can. I would like to have more people to show me new books, new movies, new music and new places. And to simply become more daring, I suppose. It has always been a problem for me to go beyond my comfort-zone, but I guess since I can't escape it, I can only try to expand it.

Interests

I like moving pictures and foreign languages. Oh and enthousiastic-passionate people. But we can also talk literature, geopolitics and history a bit if that's what you are into. Or cooking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm always trying my best to be kind. With different outcomes tho. But I've volunteered for 2 weeks (which is really nothing!) at the Refugee Community Kitchen/Auberge des Migrants in Calais and it has been one of the best experiences in my life. I wish everyone could have a chance to do it, even if only for just a weekend.
