I've been learning Mandarin for 5 years now. Lived in Beijing for a year, came home, realized that i want to come back - so here I am in Shanghai now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tried to host couchsurfers and friends in Moscow whenever it was possible, but for now my surfing experience is much bigger than hosting... One day, when i settle down and have enough space, I wish I'll be able to give back all the hospitality I got from others^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cities I couchsurfed at always had their FACE. The charm and spirit of their hosts. Lauren, Tim, Kirill, Andrew, Sara, Rindo, Zaki - thank you for making my experience unforgettably amazing :)

For the past couple of years all the couchsurfing in China, Malaysia and Singapore's been done together with my friend, Miranda Tsetskladze. Since we met in Beijing, she's my second pilot, and I hope the 3 upcoming years in Asia will be just as amazing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I lllllove cinema in all its variations! Classic movies, modern TV shows, everything. Music preferences are as broad too - they change from blues to street beatbox :)
Reading books is great too, though in our digital age it's become mostly listening to them, haha :) Arthur Hailey, Max Frei, Boris Akynin, Harry Potter read by Stephen Fry, Peter Goullart, James Hilton, etc etc.
Oh, and also guidebooks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Acted in a movie with Jackie Chan during my second week in China!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook russian pancakes, make french brades, write chinese characters, dance russian folk dance - and gladly learn from you in return :)
