Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having been through university and traveled on and off for numerous years, I want to continue traveling at a slower place and actually get to know places and people away form the typical backpacker scene. Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect way to really get under the skin places in the world, and meet interesting people in the process.

Interests

Actually really interested in my degree, Politics, and especially in critical theory and international relations, two fields I hope to go into one day. Love travel, and constantly adding more places and experiences on my bucket list. Enjoy good nights out, good food, and socialising with old friends and making new ones. I enjoy reading but never find the time, as I tend to spend it watching bad American TV. Living on a pearl farm for half a year in Australia has made me appreciate the outdoors heaps more, and I'm learning to love the messy natural side of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Genuinely into most music, love chilled out indie bands and house music with breathy female vocals. Not so good at watching films, I've seen next to none but love them when I finally do. Reading is one of my passions, slowly trying to catch up with the modern classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Guitar jam session on the steps of the sacre coeur overlooking Paris at night with locals I'd just met. Abseiling down waterfalls in Vietnam. Moving to Australia with no plans and no money. 7 months living and working on a remote pearl farm in NW Oz. Dancing on tables all night long at Gili T. And I'm sure the best is still to come
