About Me

I am a nature-lover, activist, nerd, ecologist-in-waiting - citizen of couchsurfing. I am always eager to learn more about the world and the people in it. I love music, plants, boardgames, art, being in water, trying new things, and meeting all of you wonderful people.

Couch requests: If you are passing through my chosen home of Dundee, feel free to drop me a message. For best outcomes, request the week of or week before your stay, I don't always know I'm available much further in advance. Last minute/emergency requests are ok too. Read the "about home" section please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing because I believe in the principle of solidarity and sharing economy it is based on. Since then, I have had many amazing experiences and met wonderful humans on my travels. It helped me find places that feel like home and strangers who turned into friends and family all over the world. Now that I have returned to Europe (although more travels are ahead I'm sure), I'm happy to host, meet or help those who still hit the road, after all the hospitality I recieved myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled on my own (not always alone) across 4 continents at the age of 18/19 with very little things or money, even less of a plan, mostly using public transport and hitchhiking. It was a dream of mine and I am so proud of myself for seeing it through.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there is one thing I know a fair bit about it is food systems and their connection to ecology. Happy to exchange ideas about food sovereignty, sustainability and equality - and cooking on a mass scale.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A smile, a good laugh, a little bit of my languages if you want, maybe cooking together, hopefully being a nice and uncomplicated company. I can even sing you a song if you want :D And I can annoy with my travel stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Croatia, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malawi, Malaysia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, Viet Nam, Zimbabwe
