People coming from Chennai :

1. Take the bus from Main Bus Station (Koyambedu) for Pondicherry
2. Take the bus which goes via Tindivanam (NOT the ECR road route) because its faster and the bus passes closer to Auroville/my home.
3. Get down at the Toll gate at Pondicherry

Auroville/My home is less than 2 kms from here. Walk or call to check if anyone can pick you up from nearby.

Folks with camping gear/tent can be hosted anytime in our gardens or massive forest area that has lot of trees/shade.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT A FREE couch surfing experince. There is a mandatory contribution required. 300 Rs per person per day. Its a real commune and only serious nature loving volunteers are accepted here. It is a very green farm with lot of trees and nature.

My place is the melting point for most backpackers and tourists coming to Auroville. I have hosted more people last year than all other hosts in Auroville/Pondicherry combined. I do this to interact and learn. Its not a free exotic hotel to crash for the night. Share stories and Interact with other volunteers in commune.

Everyone is friendly in the neighborhood. Smile a lot. Have fun. :)
