Overview
About Me
Working as a research analyst with an insurance company. Got introduced to surfing through a friend, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm planning to travel abroad for the first time, sometime soon. Decided to start by building up some Karma points by hosting a few folks first. I'm working on weekdays mostly, so I hope you can manage traveling around during the day by yourself, happy to join you for a couple of hours in the evenings if you wish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very inspired by the thoughts of Anthony Bourdain: "If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody.
Open your mind, get up off the couch, move."
While I enjoy my job, it leaves me with limited time to travel in a year. Sharing a meal with someone from a different culture or grabbing a beer with a new friend helps make life less mundane and keeps the heart young.
