About Me

I love to share a good sarcastic chuckle, watch movies, read books, eat looots of food, swim and be around the ocean and waterfalls and cool stuff like that. I'm a big fan of the "just get over it" attitude and find needless drama to be insanely boring. I recently came back from a long trip abroad and had the best time of my life discovering a ton of things that I'm fond of (mostly food).
Before traveling I didn't like
- Red Wine
- Fancy Cheese
- Hummus
- Mangos (I know right, bloody crazy)
- Learning Languages
- Avocados

HOW GOOD ARE ALL THESE THINGS!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Saving money is great, obviously. But as expected, Couch-Surfing has given me experiences and opportunities that I feel most people are missing out on. The money saving aspect has quickly become little more than a side bonus. I'm on couch-surfing because the amazing people who use this as hosts truly love traveling and meeting people enough to invite others into their home. Meaning I already know they share one of my most important passions. I want to join it so that i can eventually host, help and give back.

Interests

My reasons for traveling are pretty regular. I love meeting people and making friends, I love eating food and seeing nature (especially when it involves swimming). Spending a whole day at the beach and then chilling with a beer (or better a cocktail(or better a cheap cocktail!)) and a fantasy book is probably the most perfect concept I could think of. I'm no chef but i love cooking too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Science Fiction and Fantasy for everything. Except music i suppose, but wait that would be cool.

MOVIES
Disney, LOTR's, Star Wars, Marvel, DC. And some not so geeky ones too yes. Most things with Hugh Grant. I agree, Gosling is a babe, Reynolds wins though. I've actually watched quite a few Indian films and I'll be honest, these get me more emotional than most.
TV
Let's go nerd first shall we? Star Gate, Doctor Who (oh yeah), Firefly & more. F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Game of Thrones and too many more.
BOOKS
Let's go with authors. Patrick Rothfuss (i read "Name of the wind" a couple of years ago and am eager for the trilogy finale), Tolkien, Brandon Sanderson, anything that will help to improve my Spanish. I've read so many good books where I have completely forgotten the authors actually :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped next to an erupting volcano!

Teach, Learn, Share

I plan to gain a lot of useful skills and knowledge but for now I am a little inexperienced. I can cook a pretty mean curry and some damn good omelettes (I love Indian food and breakfast) and if you want any swimming tips I can always help. And I love jokes and humor and such!! I will always help with dishes/cleaning of course. Traveling through Latin America has completely inspired me to learn Spanish, and I am working super hard at this. I hope to go home and surprise people with some super self taught bilingual super powers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All of the above, a very honest and big smile, good laughs and surely more. Lets figure it out together! I also have some vegemite if you would like to try it (it just ran out actually :((()
