ABOUT ME

A fun-loving, simple, easy to get along with person who is a keen listener and a genuine friend. I can get a little impatient at times, but that's because I am a hustler and am always on the look-out for new ideas. I am someone you can always count on and will answer a distress call even at 3.00 am in the morning.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that my personal philosophy is best captured in this small article about "Life" that i had written a few years ago. Hope you enjoy reading it :)

I am sitting by the window and looking out at the beautiful waves of the sea and the ripples on the water showing up as shadows. Life, the one thing that people seldom have time to live to the fullest, let alone think about, is the only thought on my mind. What is life ? Why are we all here ? Why are we all so different ? My mind is filled with a myriad of thoughts about a single thought - "Life".

I often wonder, is life as complicated as we make it to be ? Or is so simple that we just can't play along because of our innate complexities ? I believe that life is the same to each one of us - "Simple". The only difference however, is in the way we live it. Unfortunately, living it the right way is probably the most perplexing issue that we face. Most of us are content living life as if we are doing a favour to life and ourselves. Most of us feel that, life should be thankful to us for we have agreed to spend some of our invaluable time on this beautiful planet. A few of us respect life and believe that life is the force that governs the way we function. These few people are thankful to life and are God fearing (Life fearing). They do most of the things thinking about the consequences of not doing them rather than the rationality behind doing them. Finally,a very few of us believe that we and life are not two different things. These very few people believe that they are here for a reason. The reason however, is not know to them till the very end of their life. They spend their entire life working tirelessly with indefatigable energy towards finding out that reason. In the process they leave behind so many special things, that the reason they were here for, does not really matter anymore. These few people are fearless, honest and probably the most rational. They are called "Mavericks".

When i snap out of these random and abstract thoughts, i realize that finding out the reason i am here is going to take me a long long time. However, i do know that if I take the path less traveled, i am sure that i will be able to see life in a totally different way; probably in a way that i cannot even imagine today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to have people over in Milan. I have small apartment, but its enough to have a couple of people stay over for a few days. Milan is great place to visit and i will be more than glad to show you around.. !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few surfing and hosting experiences and they have been extremely interesting. There is so much to learn from the people you meet and it's so nice to see that people always go out of their way to help. My most interesting experience was in Switzerland, where i stayed with this family in a small town called Zermatt. It was incredible as i really felt a part of the family. They included me in the local meals, allowed me to accompany them skiing to the Matterhorn slopes.
